Laser Hair Reduction

During hair reduction treatment the laser emits a concentrated beam of light that is absorbed by the pigment in the hair and converted to heat, which damages the hair follicles, inhibiting or delaying future growth. Multiple treatments are needed and maintenance might be necessary. Hair color and skin type as well as hormonal imbalances influence the results of laser treatment. Laser hair reduction is less effective for hair colors that don’t absorb light well: gray, red, blond and white. For those colors we use electrolysis device. After the treatment the hair will not fall out immediately, but over a period of days to weeks. Repeated treatments are necessary because hair growth and loss occur in a cycle, and laser works best with hair follicles in the new-growth stage. Results vary from person to person

Laser Skin rejuvenation

Laser skin rejuvenation is a skin resurfacing procedure that uses a laser to improve the appearance of the skin, sun-damaged skin, scars caused by acne, chickenpox or injuries, open pores, fine lines around the eyes, mouth, and cheeks, loss of skin tone. Laser rejuvenation can be done with ablative laser and non- ablative laser. Ablative laser removes the thin outer layer of skin, the epidermis and heats the dermis which stimulates the growth of new collagen fibers. As the epidermis heals and regrows, the treated area appears smoother and tighter. Non-ablative laser is a non-wounding laser that stimulates collagen growth, which over time helps improve skin tone and texture. Non-ablative laser resurfacing is less invasive and requires less recovery time. If you’re undergoing non-ablative laser treatment, a series of treatments is typically scheduled over the course of weeks or months.

Laser for Stretchmarks

Stretchmarks are scars that form when your skin enlarges or shrinks rapidly and appears typically on the abdomen, upper arm, buttocks, hips and thighs. Few common reasons of getting striae are: quick weight loss or gain, quick muscle growth, growth spurt in puberty, after breast enlargement surgery, use of topical corticosteroids, certain genetic disorders. Fractional CO2 and Fractionated RF are the most efficient and giving long lasting results in treating stretch marks. These lasers remove the outer layer of skin, leaving newer, smoother skin and trigger production of new collagen, which helps smooth out the stretchmark. The number of sessions needed depends on the severity of your stretch marks and the type of laser being used. It’s also good to have realistic expectations that you won’t see complete removal of your stretch marks after your laser treatments sessions. The American Society for Dermatological Surgery estimates a 20%-60% improvement in the appearance of your stretchmarks.

Laser Scars Removal

Laser treatment for scars uses focused light therapy to either remove the outer layer of the skin’s surface or stimulate the production of new skin cells to cover damaged skin cells. Laser treatment for scars can reduce the appearance of warts, skin wrinkles, age spots, scars, and keloids. This procedure requires a topical anesthetic to numb the skin. Mild side effects of the procedure include pain, swelling, redness, and temporary oozing. These effects usually disappear in a couple of days. Although scars can’t be completely removed, studies have shown that laser therapy can effectively minimize a scar’s appearance and thickness. Laser treatment for scars removes damaged skin cells and diminish injury scars, burn marks, acne scars, dark spots, age spots, and other types of hyperpigmentation. These lasers are also used to target blood vessels in the scar tissue and reduce redness.

Rosacea

Rosacea is a common skin condition that causes redness and visible blood vessels in your face. It may also produce small, red, pus-filled bumps. These signs and symptoms may flare up for weeks to months and then go away for a while.

Most patients report that laser treatment helps reduce visible blood vessels, flushing and redness. Studies found that people with rosacea undergoing laser therapy saw a 40 to 60 percent improvement in these symptoms after the second treatment

Spider Veins

Spider veins are small, damaged veins that can appear on the surface of the legs or face and can be blue, purple or red and appear in different shapes like lines, webs or branches. Although generally harmless, spider veins can cause discomfort, and some people may wish to remove them for cosmetic purpose. Lasers are used to treat spider veins. The laser photons are absorbed by the blood cells in the veins generating heat that destroys the blood vessel.

Small spider veins may disappear immediately after treatment while larger spider veins will darken, and you’ll likely see them for 1 to 3 months before they disappear

Tattoo Removal

The most effective and safe way of removing tattoos without scarring is by using a dedicated laser, with a special technology called Q Switched laser. The Energy of QS laser is concentrated into very powerful pulses in nanoseconds, enough to shatter the ink of tattoo in tiny particles without affecting the surrounding tissue.                                                                                                 The number of treatments depends on the type of tattoo (professional tattoos more difficult) and age of ink. Usually, minimum of 4 sessions are required at an interval of 4-10 weeks. In this time, your body needs to “clean” the broken particles of ink, through your lymphatic system.

Skin tags removal

Skin tags are common, benign skin growths made up of fat, collagen fibers, and sometimes nerve cells and small blood vessels. Skin tags are frequently found in areas of friction on the skin, such as the neck, underarms, under the breasts, eyelids, and other skin folds. Skin tag removal can be accomplished through several different methods like cryotherapy, electrocautery, snipping or excision. Skin tags are not typically a cause for medical concern. Once a doctor confirms that the growth is benign, no further action is usually necessary. They are not harmful and will not become so over time. However, some people find them unsightly and choose to have to have them removed.
