Dermal Filler

Dermal Fillers are injectable cosmetic treatments typically made up of hyaluronic acid, that fill in wrinkles and add volume to soft tissue. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance found in our skin, responsible of keeping skin hydrated and volumized. Dermal fillers depending on their specific can last from 6 months to much longer before being gradually absorbed by the body. Each body is different so the duration of the filler will not be the same for each individual.

One of the benefits of HA fillers, aside from their natural appearance when injected, is that can be dissolved in case of adverse event or if the person dislikes the appearance.
Dermal fillers are used for smoothing of deep under-eye circles, for restoring or augmenting the lips, for cheeks lifting, chin and jawline definition, hands rejuvenation, as well as some cases of non invasive rhinoplasty.

The most common use of botox injections is to temporarily relax the facial muscles that cause wrinkles in the forhead and around the eyes.

Botox is used also to treat gummy smile by limiting the rise of the upper lip when smiling so the gums will remain covered

The treatment is very effective and the results last usually around 4 months but it depends from patient to patient and the problem being treated. We have found that when the procedure is repeated, over time the result will remain for longer period.

Botox injections usually begin working one to three days after treatment, final results to be seen in one week

Platelets Rich Plasma (PRP)

PRP treatments also known as vampire facial consists in a small blood sample taken from the patient being treated and placed into a centrifuge to separate platelets from other blood components. The concentration of platelets is then injected into the area that needs to be treated. PRP can be used to stimulate collagen production, rejuvenate the skin, reducing the facial lines and wrinkles.

At Cavallo Clinic we have options of combining PRP with different treatments according to skin condition. Most patients notice a better skin tone, skin tightening and volume few days after the first session but a series of treatments are required for optimum result. PRP treatments can also enhance hair restoration and speed wound healing stimulating tissue regeneration.

A thread lift is a type of procedure wherein temporary sutures are used to produce a subtle but visible ,,lift” and tightening of the face skin. The procedure is triggering the healing response of the body which is directing large surges of collagen to the treated areas which will provide an extra benefit of improving the skin condition in time.

Patients should maintain realistic expectations for this procedure. While thread lifts certainly produce visible changes, they will generally only lift the face by a few millimeters so the result will be more subtle than facelift surgery. Thread lifts are therefore more suitable for patients with mild to moderate, rather than severe skin laxity.

Injection lipolysis is a minimal invasive procedure used for targeted fat reduction which cant be eliminated by workout and a healthy diet. Lipolysis contain phosphatidylcholine as main agent, obtained from a variety of natural sources like soybeans or egg yolk.

Lipolysis injections may remove stubborn localized fat without the need of surgery. It works by disrupting the fat cell wall making it release its lipid content within. This breaks down the fat cells which will be eliminated from the body through natural processes.

Treatment can be used almost anywhere in the body and is most popular in reducing the double chin fat. After the injections patient will experience temporary itching, redness, swelling and bruises. It will take few sessions according to each case to achieve results

Hyperhidrosis treatment

Hyperhidrosis is an abnormally excessive sweating not related to heat or exercise. It usually affects the hands, feet and underarms and can cause social anxiety and embarrassment. The most common form is called focal hyperhidrosis, where the nerves responsible for signaling the sweat glands become overactive even though they haven’t been triggered by physical activity or a rise in temperature. Problem gets worst with stress or nervousness. This type usually affects palms and soles and sometimes face. Botox is an effective treatment for focal hyperhidrosis by blocking the nerve signals responsible for sweating, stopping the sweat glands from producing too much sweat. Treatments are needed every 4 to 6 months but overtime patients can go longer between treatments

Skin Booster

Profhilo skin booster are micro-injections of non-cross-linked dermal fillers made of thermally stabilized high concentration hyaluronic acid (64mg / 2ml).  Profhilo is injected into five different key points on each side of the face for the purpose of hydrating and improving skin elasticity and firmness, unlike crossed linked fillers used for lifting and augmenting of certain parts of the face or body. Profhilo diffuses within the skin tissue for a period of 28 days after the injection, stimulating 4 different types of collagen and elastin. The treatment is administered typically over the course of 2 to 3 sessions one month apart, followed by another session every 6 months to maintain results.  Profhilo is suitable for the face, neck and hands.

Mesotherapy is a minimal invasive treatment that uses injections of vitamins, stem cells, enzymes, hormones and plant extracts to rejuvenate skin, to treat scars, to reduce cellulite, contour the body, lighten pigmented skin, treat different hair and skin conditions.

The technique uses very fine needles to deliver a series of injections into the middle layer of the face or body skin.

You will need a series of three to fifteen sessions, depending to the condition treated every one week to 10 days at first. When the condition improves the treatment can be stretched out to once every two weeks or once a month
